BUILT TO A STANDARD

It's hard to believe, but there are no Australian structural standards set down for the design and construction of small pleasure craft.

At Fibrelite, we believe this is just not good enough. After all, how are you as a boat owner to know your craft meets quality build and product specifications?

To ensure we meet the highest possible standards, and for your total peace of mind, all Fibrelite boats are built in compliance with Australian Standards AS 4132.1 and .3.1993 for the design and construction of COMMERCIAL CRAFT.

In our opinion, if a boat doesn't meet this standard, you shouldn't buy it.

As well as buiding to Australian standards, we insist on using only the very best products available. Our foam, fibre and resin products are all approved by Lloyds of London.

McAlpine Marine Design Pty Ltd in their observation of the building processes and procedures employed in the build of Fibrelite Runabouts noted the quality of the workmanship displayed was impressive; whilst "the quality of the lamination, and connection details exceeded that typically employed by local commercial and pleasure boat manufacturers."
